It is commonly knows as ICFs (insulated concrete forms) and is offered by various manufacturers. We have chosen the Canadian firm Amvic ICF Building Systems, as it offers one of the best systems available on the market today. |

| footings + are standard reinforced concrete footings. Sizes will be determined by a structural engineer based on loads and existing soil conditions. |

| framing kit + the exposed wood framing will be prefabricated and delivered with all necessary connectors as a kit, ready for rapid site assembly. |
| conventional framing + the floor sandwich and interior walls of the first floor will be framed on site. For easy MEP (mechanical + electrical + plumbing) installation we are going to use open-web trusses. |

| 2 = 1 + The second floor consists of two separate prefabricated space modules that are delivered to the construction site with interior finishes and built-ins in place. The roof and the exterior siding will be installed on site to ensure a proper waterproof and airtight seal between the two units. We are still working an the wall and roof sandwich specs. Further information with regard to those items will be made available shortly.
